how to make a flash drive bootable

Sometimes, you may want to change the operating system of your computer system, lets say to windows 10. buying  and using a cd/dvd-plates can be time demanding and also due to maybe your cd/dvd player is dirty will make your work slow. while you are thinking of what to, i am going to show you how to use your flash drive to install windows on your computer. before you do that, you have to make your flash drive bootable. make sure that the flash drive is empty and  also 8GB and above
below are the steps to make your flash bootable.

1. Insert the USB flash drive into a running computer.
2. Open a command prompt windows as an administrator.
3. Type DISKPART then hit enter.
4. In the new command line windows that opens, to determine your USB flash drive number or letter, type LIST DISK then hit enter. the list of all the drive available will display, both the one you plug in to your computer.
5. At the command prompt, type SELECT DISK X then hit enter. x is the number or letter of the disk or drive you want to select. usually the drive you plug in always appear in MB not GB.
6. Type CLEAN then hit enter. the command deletes all files from the drive.
7. To create a new primary partition on the USB drive, type CREATE PARTITION PRI then hit enter.
8. To select the partition you have just created type SELECT PART 1 then hit enter.
9. To format the partition, type FORMAT FS=FAT32 QUICK then hit enter.
10. Type ACTIVE then hit enter.
11. Type EXIT then hit enter.
12. put your installation files inside the flash drive you just made bootable, then go on and install your windows.
